The Coca-Cola Cinemagic International in association with We Love Anime will be showing several screenings in the ODEON, Belfast.

Eirtakon will be opening this weekend, November 11th – 13th, at The Helix, DCU in Dublin.

The 4th Japanese Film Festival runs from November 6th till the 20th. The event is organized by the Embassy of Japan, access>CINEMA and the Ireland Japan Association.

The Galway Technical Institute are running a introduction class to manga drawing that is running from Wednesday September 28th.

The class is being run by John Jennings and the class will run for 10 weeks with a registration cost of €120.

Cork Institute of Technology will be hosting their Societies Day on Tuesday the 20th of September - CIT Anime Society will be registering new members for the society.

University College Cork has created the Irish Institute for Japanese Studies (IIJS) which will host a number of cultural events such as presentations of Japanese film, music, theatre, and other arts.

A new monthly cosplay event is kicking off Dublin City Comics on September 12th.

Each month will feature a different theme with September being Comic Cosplay!

There will be talks about how to design costumes, where to source materials along with their popular Cosplay Burlesque.
